MTV’s Rebel Music

I was hired by Nomadic Wax productions to direct and co-direct two episodes of MTV’s Rebel Music season 2. Involved from the early stages of production, I worked with the series producer to define the storylines for the two episodes and to establish the visual and technical approach to the episodes. Filming for the two episodes took in Myanmar, the US, and Canada during summer and fall of 2014. I also provided still photography that was used in MTV’s marketing campagign surrounding the show, and the intro sequence for the series. 

Best Part: Working on stories about social justice for an international media company felt like a dream come true. Traveling to exotic locales and working with inspiring people wasn’t bad either.
Biggest Challenge: Lots of moving parts. Smuggling hard drives out of Burma.
